What is the printing policy in your classroom?
Students must arrive to class with their papers printed. Students will not be permitted to leave class to print a paper unless pre-arranged with the teacher.
Does sharing a Google Doc count as handing in a paper?
No, students must turn in a hard copy of the paper for the teacher to grade. Sharing the document signals that the student would like the teacher to look over the paper (must include a note about what to look for), but does not mean that the paper is "handed in."
What do I do if I don't have a printer at home?
Some students do not have access to a printer at home. Students must let the teacher know as soon as possible if printing is not possible. The teacher can arrange another time for students to print their paper without penalty.
What do I do if I'm having a printer crisis?
Students or parents must e-mail the teacher as soon as possible if their is a printer problem. The teacher will then set up a time for the student to print without penalty. If the student's computer is not working, students must have their parent or guardian write a note verifying this is the case.
